Barb Martien graduated from Laurel School and Skidmore College with an art major and attended the Cleveland Institute of Art.
Show hours are 10am to 6pm daily. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
Scimitars Big Band Concert
Sunday, June 12, 2016 - 7:00PM
The Scimitars Big Band of Cleveland, Ohio, under the leadership of conductor Paul Lawrence, will perform at Hamlet Atrium. The Scimitars specialize in the music of the 1940's, 50's, and 60's, the era of the Big Bands. They also perform music of an earlier vintage, as well as some current popular tunes. The instrumentation includes full saxophone, trumpet, trombone, and rhythm sections. The Al Koran Shrine Temple Band enjoys playing at Masonic Lodges, Scottish Rite and Shrine events, civic centers, and for cultural groups. The name Scimitars comes from the heavy blade on the Shrone emblem of the Crescent and Scimitar.
